Transformation of Sentences according to  Structure : From Simple to Complex and from Simple to Compound : Abbreviations : S – Subject N – Noun V – Verb IPO – In Place Of ASOT – According to Sequence Of Tense SP – Subjective Pronoun SFOP – Subjective Form Of Possessive PP – Present Participle V ( PP) – Past Participle of the Verb VOP – Verbs Of Perception ( feelings)   Rule 14 : Simple sentences with ‘Just after + Gerund' : Example 1 : Just after reaching there, we started our work. ·       Structure to be followed to transform the exemplified simple sentence into complex: Complex : As soon as ( IPO – Just after)  + S + V ( IPO – Gerund) – ASOT + up to,  + ,  + SP + Ex. Answer : As soon as we reached there, we started our work. Or No sooner had ( IPO – Just after) + S + V( PP ) + up to - ,  + than ( IPO - ,)  + SP + Ex. No sooner had we reached there than we started our work.   Rule 14 ( b) : Simple sentences with ‘Just after + Possessive + Gerund / VN' in case of different subjects and Present Simple Tense: Example : Just after a teacher's entering into the classroom, the students stand up. Complex : As soon as ( IPO – Just after)  + SFOP + V ( IPO – Gerund / VN) - ASOT + up to - , +.,  + Ex : Answer : As soon as a teacher enters into the classroom, the students stand up. Compound : Just after – omitted + SFOP + V ( Gerund / VN) – ASOT + up to -, + and just then ( IPO - , ) ILO – Just after + Ex : Answer : A teacher enters into the classroom and just then the students stand up. Or Complex : No sooner do / does ( IPO – Just after) + SFOP + V ( Base) + up to - ,  + than ( IPO - ) + Ex : Answer : No sooner does a teacher enter into the classroom than the students stand up.   Rule 15 a): Simple sentences with ‘S + VOP + N + PP'  : Example : I saw a bird flying. Complex : S + VOP + N + RP + Be V. – ASOT + PP Answer : I saw a bird which was flying. Compound : N + Be V. + PP + and + S + VOP + OPOS. Answer : A bird was flying and I saw it. Rule 15 b) : Simple sentences with ‘S + VOP + OP + PP' : Example : I saw them quarreling. Complex : S + VOP + that + SFOOP + Be V. + PP. Answer : I saw that they were quarreling.
