CULTURAL AND IDENTITY CRISIS IN SOUTH SUDAN EYE RADIO SOUTH SUDAN

As a country that was and still being affected by war, many South Sudanese left the country to seek for refuge in different countries in Africa and all over the world. With different cultural practices across the world, most of south Sudanese were forced to adapt to the new found cultures so that they can “fit in” as a means of survival. Without their knowledge, many people were transformed by this new cultures, they could identify themselves with the cultures and they became comfortable with that. Coming back to south Sudan, there’s still old traditions and cultures that they originally left. With this new ideologies and cultural beliefs, everyone has a different mindset and different approach towards situations affecting us as a country.
