“ RAREBIRD “ newly arranged by Johannes Schmoelling TANGERINE DREAM played a significant role in the music scene of the 1980s, which was characterized by the political tensions of the Cold War and the emerging peace movement. At that time, they were both innovators of electronic music and part of a cultural discourse that was shaped by the challenges of the Cold War and the call for peace.Their instrumental music offered many a platform for communication, reflection and hope.It was a cultural bridge between East and West without politically agitating.
