It’s a great place to spend a few hours exploring, taking photos, and escaping the busy city without actually leaving Atlanta. 👻 Oakland Cemetery & Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Next, we’re heading to Historic Oakland Cemetery, one of Atlanta’s most fascinating historic landmarks! Part of this video features Capturing the Spirit of Oakland, a special October event where visitors explore the cemetery and hear stories about its former residents. Through costumed storytelling performances, you’ll learn about the real people buried here, their lives, and their connections to Atlanta’s history. It’s a unique way to experience Oakland Cemetery during the Halloween season, combining history, storytelling, and a slightly spooky atmosphere without being a traditional haunted house.
