Find out how your firm's website and marketing stack up (it's free and only takes 3 minutes): https://handlagency.scoreapp.com/?utm... One bookkeeper's website went from 0 leads to 6 signed clients worth £30,948 a year in recurring fees, all from Google. In this video I show you the exact 5 steps we used, so you can copy them for your own firm. What's in this video: Paul Cain runs Cain & Co, a bookkeeping firm in Kent. Before we started, his website had 73 organic sessions and zero leads in 10 months. After the five changes, it had 487 organic sessions (a 567% rise), 14 enquiries, 11 qualified leads and 6 signed clients. And "bookkeeping London", one of the most competitive bookkeeping keywords in the UK, went from position 20 to number 1 on Google in under 60 days. Step 1: Keyword research. Go after money keywords (people ready to hire, like "bookkeeping London"), not keywords that just bring traffic. I show you how we found them in SE Ranking and Claude, and mapped each one to the right page. Step 2: Meta titles and H1s. The best meta titles have the exact-match keyword, your USPs and a call to action. Then a pain-led H1 that still holds the keyword. Step 3: The content. How we used Surfer SEO to rewrite the homepage around the keyword with the terms Google expects to see, and why bookkeeping is a "your money or your life" niche where trust (E-E-A-T) decides who ranks. Step 4: Backlinks. Free local directories with a consistent name, address and phone number, plus links from relevant finance sites. His site's authority score went from 18 to 28 in a year. Step 5: Conversion. The step most bookkeeping websites forget. Real photos of Paul instead of stock images, accreditations, reviews, his Curry & Co Networking Nights, and a clear call to action on every page. Rankings bring people in; this is what turns them into enquiries. Then you'll hear what Paul had to say about it all.
