You Bring So Much Joy Into The World | Niagara on the Lake Wedding at 124 on Queen Hotel and Spa

Holy smokes. I dare you not to feel just a smidge of emotion watching these two express their love for each other through their vows. Jackie and Jenn spent every moment of their wedding day embedded with each other. Sharing jokes, laughing, crying and living every moment. They also surrounded themselves with an incredible bridal party who added so much to the experience. I'm not sure we've ever witnessed a group of friends saying so many nice things about a couple. We really struggled with which speeches to include because they were all so amazing and heartfelt. Jackie and Jenn's Niagara on the Lake Wedding took place at the Gate House; an historical venue that partners with the Queen's Hotel and Spa to host weddings and events. It's an "all in one" venue, meaning that there's no need to travel between locations. Jackie and Jenn were able to stay and get ready at the Hotel allowing them a nice relaxing morning before the bridesmaids put Jackie and his groomsmen through a challenging set of door games. They conducted their ceremony in the intimate courtyard and hosted their guests for cocktails and reception at the Gate House Restaurant. We've filmed plenty of weddings at vineyards in Niagara on the Lake, and this was the first time that we were able to shoot so much in the downtown area. Niagara on the Lake is a beautiful small town, with a rich history and popular with tourists (see horse drawn carriage rides). But the best thing about the town is it's character; there are so many unique houses and buildings along the quiet residential streets which we turned into perfect backdrops for Jackie and Jenn's first look and portrait session. We were also able to head back out during golden hour, stopping outside a few more buildings before taking a stroll through Niagara on the Lake Golf Club. Jackie and Jenn were such a joy to work with. They were easy going, fun, friendly, kind and most importantly, stayed "in the moment" at all times. They clearly had the time of their lives and we're so lucky we were able to capture it.
