Today’s luffa soup started with a fresh luffa my mother-in-law got from our neighbor’s garden. I cooked the luffa soup at home and packed it for lunch at work. At lunchtime, I shared my luffa soup with my coworkers, and they shared their homemade dishes with me too. What started as one simple dish quickly became a full five-dish lunch. That’s what I enjoy most about lunch at work — simple food always feels better when we share it together.
