This teaching was given on 10/24/2026. Rinpoche was broadcasting from Taiwan to Vajra Vidya Portland, a Buddhist community in Maine. The Vajradhara Lineage Prayer is regularly recited at Kagyu Buddhist centers because it invokes an unbroken spiritual transmission and provides pith instruction in Mahamudra. Khenchen Lobzang Tenzin Rinpoche is the spiritual director of Vajra Vidya Retreat Center in Crestone, Colorado, established by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. Born in Bhutan to Tibetan parents, Khenpo Lobzang grew up beside Thrangu Monastery. He entered the monastery at age 9, then trained in Nepal, and later received full ordination from Thrangu Rinpoche. He completed monastic college with distinction and was appointed Khenpo.
