Two hours of calm narration through the deep past of the planet beneath us. Five Earth Ages films play one after another: the whole 4.5-billion-year story of Earth, the making and breaking of Pangaea, the first life, the asteroid that ended the age of the dinosaurs, and India's long journey into Asia that raised the Himalayas. The music is soft, there are no sound effects or sudden breaks, and the films fade gently from one to the next. If you drift off along the way, that's fine. The rocks will wait.
