St Bartholomew’s Church, Egdean | Built in 1622 | Historic Sussex Church

Join me as I visit St Bartholomew’s Church in Egdean, West Sussex, a fascinating historic church dating from 1622, built on the site of an earlier medieval church. Inside, we explore the beautiful font, stained glass, historic memorials, seventeenth-century roof timbers, chancel and other interesting features, before heading outside to explore the peaceful churchyard and its old gravestones. And while filming inside the church, I captured a strange sound that I didn’t actually hear at the time. I only noticed it when reviewing the footage afterwards.
