Surankote’Hill Kaka Day (Op Sarpvinash) was launched by the Indian army during the summers of 2003 to eliminate the trts and destroy their bases in Hill Kaka .*Awami Fauz* comprised of locals of Village Murrah also joined hands with Indian army. They had evinced interest to fight the trts op in their area, consequent to large no of atrocities committed by the trts on the locals, especially women .During Op Sarvinash, the Awami Fauz, gave valuable int and also actively participated in Operation alongside own . During this Op, one SPO, Abdul Ahmed, who was the local hero and inspiration was killed and was given a befitting funeral.
