Key Historical Architecture • Roman & Medieval: Fragments of the original Roman Wall remain, along with the White Tower at the Tower of London (11th century). • Wren Churches & Baroque: Following the 1666 Great Fire, Sir Christopher Wren redesigned St Paul's Cathedral and many city churches, defining the City’s skyline for centuries. • Victorian/Edwardian: The Royal Exchange, Mansion House, and Guildhall represent classical and Gothic-influenced civic architecture.
