Present: • I am about to leave. • She is about to sleep. • They are about to start. Negative: • I am not about to leave. • He isn't about to go. Yes/No Questions: • Are you about to leave? • Is she about to start? WH-Questions: • What are you about to do? • Where are they about to go? 2️⃣ BE ABOUT TO – PAST • I was about to call you. • She was about to leave. • We weren't about to give up. • Were you about to sleep? • What were you about to do? 🇪🇹 በአማርኛ: “Be about to” አንድ ነገር በቅርቡ/አሁን ሊከሰት ሲል ለመግለጽ ይጠቀማል። 3️⃣ THINK ABOUT Think about = ስለ አንድ ነገር ማሰብ / ማሰላሰል • I’m thinking about my future. • Think about it carefully. • She is thinking about changing her job. 4️⃣ HOW ABOUT...? How about...? = ምን ይመስልሃል? / እንዴት ነው? We often use it to make a suggestion. • How about going for a walk? • How about some coffee? • How about watching a movie? 5️⃣ WHAT ABOUT...?
