Pancake Test House x Train Songz present The Cody Sisters, filmed at Jalopy Theatre in NYC. I arrived to New York City with a lot of day dreaming about the bluegrass around the city. I made the connection to Megan and the rest of the Cody Sisters through my friend Ivy, and was told to come to Mona's bluegrass night the first Monday I was there. Saw them most Monday’s here. The Cody Sisters grew up playing music with their dad, starting on guitar and mandolin, soon after their dad learned bass because he knew they'd need a bass player. They moved to New York City about a year ago, and although I saw them most Mondays at Mona's, they were out playing shows elsewhere most of the time. In my last couple days in the city, we were lucky enough to film a few songs with them at the beautiful Jalopy Theatre, in collaboration with our friends at Train Songz. Hope you enjoy!
