Trains at Doncaster, ECML, 25/07/2025

A brilliant day of filming at Doncaster on 25th July 2025. The main reason for my visit was to see a TransPennine Express Class 397 Nova 2 unit getting dragged out of Doncaster Wabtec works by two ROG Class 37 locomotives. The unit was taken south of the station where the 37s uncoupled and the 397 passed through the station on the fast line on its way back to Longsight under its own power. As well as this was a few freight workings and the usual passenger services. Trains featured: LNER Class 800 & 801 Azuma's LNER Class 91s / InterCity 225s TransPennine Express Class 185s & a 397 'Nova 2' Northern Class 150s, 170s & a 333 Grand Central Class 180s & 221s CrossCountry Class 221 EMR Class 170 Lumo Class 803 GBRF Class 69s Rail Operations Group Class 37s Stabled 37425 & 37422 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------— Thanks for watching.
