Hey Chalkers, I was reminded of my childhood this morning. My Pops called me at 5:30 this morning to say he is on the way. This man told me to have his tea ready, he’s about to get the kids in line. ( I thought he was joking about bringing his lawn chair). He had his chair with foot rest and drink holder setup in my hallway and blasting Calypso music from his radio, (That was our alarm on Saturday mornings, when the music come on, you have 20 minutes to eat breakfast and brush your teeth, and be ready to work, depending on the type of music determined the pace you should be working at! I personally prefer when heard El Gran Combo or Nelson Ned, you hear Soca, Calypso, or Reggae, you need to put a pep in your step) Boy: what is pop-pop doing here Me: I called APS ( adult protective services) Boy: why you call him Pops: I’m not a him! I’m the sheriff, go and wake- up your cousin! You see my daughter sick, and you don’t give rass! Boy: I do care Pops: well you going to prove it today! (10 minutes later) Niece B: hey pop-pop Pops: don’t hey me, I have to leave my bed early this morning to lay the law down! You driving your auntie crazy, if you continue in this manner, I’m calling your father, he needs to put you back in remembrance! Niece B: you know I’m grown Pops: Grown-ups support themselves! Now you two get to work, I got some money for you guys if you do a good job! But I’m sitting here in the highway (hallway) to make sure you working!  Please like and subscribe!
