We're finally back to REAL cash stuffing! 💵💜 After making the decision to change how we manage our money, we're putting our new cash envelope system into action for the first time this October!
In today's video, we're reviewing our first two weeks of October, walking through our weekly Budget by Paycheck numbers, stuffing our new cash wallet dividers, and beginning our sinking funds. We're also sharing how our Bridge/Rollover system helps us prepare for the bills that come before our first paycheck of the next month.
This is a fresh chapter in our family's financial journey! We're learning to budget more intentionally, build savings, create better spending habits, and work toward becoming debt-free—one paycheck and one decision at a time.
Of course, real life is still happening! Between preparing for my graduation, unexpected school expenses, and transitioning our bills to a separate Navy Federal account, we've had to make adjustments along the way. But that's exactly why we're building a system that works for our actual lives.
