There’s a side of Karachi I’ve passed by countless times, but never really stopped to explore. This time, I went into the heart of old Karachi starting from Empress Market, through Saddar, Lucky Star, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Zaibunnisa Street, Regal Chowk and the streets around it. These streets carry layers of Karachi’s history, old buildings, markets, churches, shops, people and everyday moments that have been part of the city for generations. But beyond the history, I wanted to simply experience this part of Karachi as it is today.
