According to legend, young Fridrik, son of the powerful Count Herman II of Celje, fell in love with a beautiful maiden named Veronika. Despite his father's opposition, they eloped and married in secret. When Herman found out, he sent his army after them — Fridrik was imprisoned in a tower for over four years, while Veronika was locked away in Veliki Tabor castle and accused of witchcraft. Legend says her cries still echo through the old castle's halls to this day. 💔 A love the crown couldn't break, a ghost that never left the walls...
