Saloni explains to Pia that it is getting very difficult to trace the culprit for want of evidence, and urges her to recollect the incident. However, when Pia remembers it, she is hysterical. Nahar is furious with Saloni for causing Pia distress. Meanwhile, Ambica invites Bhabho for Kaveri's baby showers ceremony. Bhabho urges Pia to learn to live life again and convinces her to attend the ceremony. When Kaveri is getting dressed for the function, Ginni phones her to inform her that she is in labour and urges her to tend to her soon. Kaveri decides to use Pia as a scapegoat, and condemns her for attending the ceremony. She deems Pia's presence as inauspicious! Kaveri asserts that her baby's life will also be filled with misery with Pia around! When Manno Bhabhi and Saloni voice their displeasure, Kaveri declares that she is leaving for her maternal home as nobody cares about her feelings! Samar comes a while later, so Saloni tells him about what happened. Samar chides Saloni for disregarding Kaveri's state of mind. Tara and the others leave, while an upset Saloni goes to Abhi's room to rest and is taken aback to see Pia's photographs in Abhi's cupboard. She demands an explanation from Abhi, so he replies that he was madly in love with Pia but had curbed his feelings when he had learnt that Pia was married. Manno Bhabhi too ascertains this, but Saloni wonders why Abhi had kept it a secret from her.
