How I think about AI risk as a mortgage broker

A lot of the questions I get are: what about privacy? What about your client data? Very fair questions, and I think they're the right questions to be asking. Here's how I think about AI risk. You are bringing on risk when you bring AI into your business. We need to control this risk. For example, I automate a lot of my emails, but I have a clear rule with my agents. They can draft emails, but I'm still the one who has to hit send. You don't need to understand every single technical detail. You need to have some oversight: what data sources you're connecting it to, what you're giving it, and why. I am the one responsible and the buck still stops with me.
