Ancestral Footsteps is a composition inspired by the deep connection between rhythm, memory, and heritage. Drawing from African polyrhythms and contemporary jazz influences, the piece reflects the invisible paths left by our ancestors — the journeys, struggles, and wisdom that continue to shape who we are today. This work is part of an ongoing exploration of identity, culture, and belonging through music. A tribute to those who walked before us. A dialogue between past and present.
