Osaka and Wakayama, Japan- September 2026

A quick weeklong jaunt to Japan during my fall break, in which I visit my daughter and the cities of Osaka, Wakayama, Asago, Kyoto, and many in between. In this first video, we explore the coastal town of Wakayama and the bustling nightlife and street food district in Osaka, Japan's 2nd largest metropolitan area. In videos to follow, we will be exploring the town of Nara, known for its deer population, the Takeda Castle Ruins, Takeno Beach, and history-rich Kyoto. **Please forgive my constant eating and talking with a mouthful of crumbs during half of this first video (but that's to be expected in the world's number 1 food city!!)
