Crawford High School in San Diego in 1964

In 1964 Dancetime debuted on TV 8. It was San Diego's version of American Bandstand and local high school students danced on the show. This film was shot to promote the show. We added music to the silent film. It's truly amazing to see what high school life looked like so many years ago--a window into a world long gone at Will C. Crawford High School.
