Southern Ontario Hotspot - Canadian National and Canadian Pacific at Milton - October 27 1999

Footage from a day trackside at Milton, Ontario in the fall of 1999. CN's Halton Subdivision crosses over CP Rail's double track Galt Subdivision on an elevated right of way. At the time, GO Transit trains used the CP Rail trackage to deadhead trainsets to Guelph Junction. This footage captured the trains over an 8 hour period from 10:30am through 6:30pm. Much of this equipment has disappeared, and operations have changed drastically.
