Canada’s New Rifle Looks Familiar — But Almost Everything Changed

Canada’s new military rifle looks almost identical to the weapon it replaces — but beneath that familiar appearance, a lot has changed. The new CMAR is not simply another upgrade to the C7/C8 family. It represents a shift toward a more modular rifle system built for the demands of future combat. The real story isn’t what you see on the outside — it’s what Canada changed behind the familiar silhouette. This video is made by humans.
