Why Would God Send You to Hell Just for Not Believing? Cliffe Knechtle Debates

Why would a loving God send someone to hell just for not believing? On a Texas State University campus, Cliffe Knechtle takes on that question head-on — and the answer isn't what most students expect. In this open-air debate, Cliffe addresses whether God is really love, why hell exists, and why anyone should trust Jesus over Muhammad, Buddha, or the Hindu gods. Students push back hard on miracles, talking donkeys, and the claim that something can come from nothing — while Cliffe responds with history, free will, the Big Bang, and the difference between scientific and historical proof. The conversation covers the problem of evil, moral accountability, the resurrection as historical evidence, and one blunt question every worldview has to answer: what happens when we all fall short? Cliffe also makes the case that hell is less about intellectual confusion and more about choosing to live separate from God — and that God honors that choice. Watch to see how the exchange unfolds — and whether the students find his answers convincing. #CliffeKnechtle #GodIsLove #ChristianApologetics #CampusDebate #WhyHell Connect with us on social media for more inspiring content!
