How far can the Velotric Summit 2 actually go in Trail Mode?
In this range test, I ride the Summit 2 from a full battery down to 0% while using Trail Mode the entire time. The route includes flat sections, steep climbs, a bluff/ridge section, and descents, so this gives a better idea of real-world range than riding only on flat terrain. Rain also moved in near the end of the test.
This is part of my full Summit 2 range-test series, and I’m keeping the setup and route as consistent as possible so we can directly compare the different pedal assist modes. The bike display showed 43.7 miles when I returned to the start, while Strava recorded 42.5 miles. The battery display first reached 0% at 41.5 miles.

The Boost Mode and Sport Mode range tests are already complete, and the Eco Mode test is coming next. Once all of the tests are finished, we’ll be able to compare how much extra range you actually gain as you move down through the different pedal assist levels.
