The Classic Gay Buddy Cop Anime | Fake

For every monday of pride month this year we're gunna take a look a various BL Anime from the 90s and 2000s to highlight the era of Boys Love Anime History when sporadic BL OVA releases were for the most part how we got our yaoi anime. Today we're taking a look at a gay buddy cop anime from the late 90s that always has someone randomly singing its praises within BL anime discourse - Fake by Sanami Matoh! We'll discuss Dee and Ryo's relationship, how nostalgic the series makes one for classic BL anime as well as get side tracked explaining my personal rating system.
