We went to our first Pow Wow in Muncey, Ontario, and honestly, we didn’t know what to expect. We visited the 49th Annual Competition Pow Wow of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, where we experienced the Grand Entry, incredible dancing, drumming, colourful regalia, food vendors, and the atmosphere of this special gathering. Most of our day was spent watching the dancers and experiencing the competition from different angles. We also explored the grounds, checked out the vendors and food trucks, and of course, had to try a refreshing strawberry drink on a hot day. This was our first time experiencing a Pow Wow, and we’re glad we took the time to come and see it for ourselves. Location: Muncey, Ontario Event: Chippewas of the Thames First Nation 49th Annual Competition Pow Wow Gear & Setup: • DJI Osmo Pocket 3 • Captured in 4K for maximum immersion. • Edited on the IPad Pro with Luma Fusion. • Best enjoyed with headphones for the full 3D audio experience.
