3 Days in Jeju Island 🇰🇷 | K-Drama Locations, Local Food & Family Adventures

3 days in Jeju on a budget and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of our South Korea trip. After the busy streets of Seoul, Jeju felt like a completely different side of Korea. We explored mostly by public bus, stayed in an affordable hotel, ate at local spots and convenience stores, and spent our days chasing beautiful views and K-drama filming locations. As K-drama fans, one of the highlights was visiting places connected to When Life Gives You Tangerines and Welcome to Samdal-ri. There’s something so fun about seeing a place on screen and then standing there in real life. We also explored Seongsan Ilchulbong, Ilchul Land, Seopjikoji, traditional Jeju villages, the Haenyeo Museum, Dongmun Market, and tried local favorites like abalone and Jeju black pork. It wasn’t a fancy or expensive trip. We took buses, walked a lot, changed plans because of the weather, ate wherever looked good, and figured things out along the way. And somehow, those simple days became some of our favorite memories. Jeju was slow, peaceful, beautiful, and proof that you don’t need a huge budget to make a trip unforgettable.
