Technicolor 3 Strip Camera Colors

This video highlights the importance of recording the R-G-B light records individually and how it is far superior to the single RGB color negative. The dye transfer of colors to separate records was used to then finally mix the records together in a print for release. The secret to the high contrast was the Prism light loss as this meant you needed to overexposed the entire scene for the slow 5-12 ISO panchromatic film stocks.
