Visiting the Technik Museum Sinsheim - Sinsheim, Germany

The Auto- und Technikmuseum Sinsheim opened its doors in 1981 in the German town of Sinsheim. The Museum remains open 365 days a year and has the largest private collection of historic automobiles. It houses more than 3,000 exhibition pieces, distributed over an area of more than 50,000 m². In 1999 it received a Russian Tupolev Tu-144 supersonic passenger aircraft, and in 2003, Air France donated one of its Concordes following the withdrawal of this model of supersonic passenger aircraft from service. Added to its Soviet counterpart, which had been on display since 2001, this place is the only one in the world where both devices are on display simultaneously. It also exhibits motorcycles, airplanes, vehicles that have won many records, sports and racing cars, military and service vehicles… In addition to the exhibition, the museum has a giant 22x27 meter IMAX 3D cinema, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
