This Grip Turns Your iPhone Into a Real Camera

TELESIN sent me their Master Grip Kit and 2X Telephoto Master Lens for the iPhone 17 Pro, so I took the whole setup out for a day of photography to see if it could actually make shooting with an iPhone feel more like using a real camera. I normally find photographing with a phone very different from using a dedicated camera, but the TELESIN Master Grip completely changes the way the iPhone feels in the hand. You get a proper grip, physical camera controls and even the ability to charge your phone while you're shooting. I also spent the day experimenting with the TELESIN 2X Telephoto Master Lens. Long focal lengths aren't normally how I photograph, so shooting around 100mm was a completely different way of seeing for me. What surprised me most was the rendering from the lens, particularly the compression, background separation and more natural-looking bokeh. This isn't about replacing a mirrorless camera.
