I can understand Kylie's dilemma, as pushing worked great for her during that season with Imogen. And I'm not saying that having three other friends would make it all better after losing Gwydion. I'm saying that he had three (or at least two, if Gossamer was already sealed) other friends who shared his pain and his loss, and they could have found companionship and strength together.
