Psalm 139 | Search Me, O Lord | A Walk Through the Psalms

Psalm 139 is one of the most personal passages in all of Scripture. David writes of a God who knows us completely, is present wherever we go, formed us before anyone else could see us, and still invites us to open our hearts to Him: “Search me, O God, and know my heart!” In this Walk Through the Psalms, we’ll read Psalm 139 together and then slowly walk back through David’s words—reflecting on what it means to be fully known by God, never beyond His presence, and willing to ask Him to search the places within us that we may not even see ourselves. And ultimately, we’ll consider David’s prayer: “Lead me in the way everlasting!” Hundreds of years later, Jesus would say: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” If this meditation leads you to say yes to Jesus, I’ve also prepared “I Said Yes to Jesus… Now What?” to help you think about the next steps in walking with Him.
