A Terrified Stray Cat Showed Up Hurt at the Back Door… Then Curled Up in His Lap

A stray cat chooses his human, then disappears for three days. It started at Toomey’s back door, when Boysie showed up with a cut on his neck. He was terrified of people, but he let Toomey clean it. Boysie came back to the same door. Toomey built him a shelter, and it took three tries just to get him into a carrier for the vet. Later, when Boysie had to stay indoors overnight, he did everything he could to get out. So the family opened the cat flap. Boysie stepped outside, stood right by the door, and started meowing at them. Once he could come and go, Boysie started spending more time inside on his own.
