DIY DIESEL HEATER BOX | Bobil heater and Chinese heater install | MERCEDES VARIO | Van Build Ep20

How do you stay warm in your van conversion? This week we are putting systems in place to ensure we have hot water and heating! We are using a Chinese diesel heater and a Bobil heat conversion system to get both of these things! Our system comprises of a 2kw Chinese Diesel Heater and a 60mm Bobil Basic Bobil Heater all housed within a DIY Diesel Heater Box. We built the box using 3mm aluminium chequer plate and 25mm aluminium angle extrusion, fixed together with rivets and rivnuts for the opening side. After this week it feels like we are well on our way to making our very own tiny house on wheels with our Vario Van Conversion! Getting warmth into the van is going to be such an achievement!
