The hospital is where every failure becomes a patient.
We often talk about electricity in terms of access, reliability, megawatts and infrastructure. But what happens when those failures reach a hospital?
Dr. George Ebong, President of the Association of Resident Doctors, FCT Administration (ARD-FCTA), brings the conversation from the energy sector into the hospital, sharing what unreliable power looks like from the perspective of doctors and patients.
The conversation also looks beyond electricity, examining the wider challenges facing public hospitals, including staffing, salaries, infrastructure, equipment and the cost of keeping facilities functional.
This is a different way of looking at energy access: not from the perspective of the system supplying the power, but from the perspective of the people and institutions that depend on it.
Watch the full conversation and join us as we connect the dots between power and healthcare.
