I Found Fire Inside This Rotten Log

What would you do with a completely rotten piece of wood that looks like it belongs in the firewood pile? I almost threw this log away… until I started cutting deeper. Hidden beneath the damaged surface was an incredible grain pattern that looked like flames trapped inside the wood. With hand tools, patience, and a lot of careful carving, I tried to transform this forgotten piece of wood into something completely unexpected.
