I REMEMBER

🔥 *KNOX LOWE – I REMEMBER* 🔥 Some memories never fade. Some scars never heal. But every struggle made us who we are. Before the money, before the wisdom, before life taught us how to survive… there was a kid just trying to make it through another day. *“I REMEMBER”* is a powerful, emotional underground hip-hop record about growing up poor on the streets of Chicago. Jumping fences, running from police, stealing food just to eat, surviving cold winters, broken homes, and a childhood that forced us to grow up too damn fast. Back when we had nothing but the clothes on our backs, the friends on the block, and a little hope that tomorrow might be better. Built on gritty 90s-style boom-bap production, haunting piano melodies, and a powerful, soul-stirring gospel church choir, this song takes you back to the days that shaped you. This isn't about glorifying the struggle. *It's about remembering what it took to survive it.* Some friends made it out. Some went to prison. Some never made it home. But their memories live forever. 🙏 *THIS ONE'S FOR EVERYBODY WHO GREW UP WITH NOTHING AND STILL FOUND A WAY TO MAKE IT.* If this song brings back memories of your childhood, your neighborhood, or somebody you lost along the way, drop a comment and tell me where you're listening from. 🎧 Turn it up. Close your eyes.
