I get it, I get it, you got on a plane You didn't leave me, you just chose your lane Say we're good on paper, I'm playing it cool Hyping you up like a lovesick fool I get it, baby, I swear that I do— God, it's killing me living in a city of you! Your fog, your hills, your old zip code I'm still walking down your favorite road Happy for you, hope you get that crown While I'm spiraling out in your part of town Born here, met here, gone so fast You took the future and left me the past Go be a star, baby, go make your name— San Francisco! I get it, I get it, you got on a plane! Left me the city and all of the pain! Say we're good on paper, I'm playing it cool Losing my mind like a lovesick fool I get it, baby, I really do— Still stuck in the city that belongs to you. --- Lyrics written by hand.
