LV Failure and PPV, hemodynamic effects of positive pressure ventilation

In this 7 minute video I review the hemodynamic effects (both harmful and beneficial) seen with positive pressure ventilation. The patient with the failing left ventricle (cardiogenic shock) is the classic patient population that may experience hemodynamic improvement with positive pressure ventilation.
