LIONEL “RAS LION” BENNETT RIVERS – Africa Calling [Unreleased 1975 Album] | Roots Reggae | Dub | Rastafari | Lost Tapes Step into the echoes of rebellion with Lionel “Ras Lion” Bennett Rivers’ lost roots reggae masterpiece, Africa Calling — recorded deep in the hills of Spanish Town in 1975, but never officially released... until now. This rare sonic relic channels heavy Nyabinghi drums, militant dub cuts, and prophetic vocals calling down fire on Babylon. Lionel “Ras Lion” Bennett Rivers, a mysterious figure from the roots underground, recorded this album as a spiritual manifesto — a war chant for the oppressed and a meditation for the awakened.
