Housing instability affects individuals, families, nonprofits, employers, schools, and communities. Understanding what’s happening now, and how our regional housing system is responding, is an important part of finding a path forward.
The Tri-Valley Antipoverty Collaborative and Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance are bringing together county expertise and organizations working directly with people experiencing housing instability for a timely, local conversation.
Amy Cole-Bloom, PhD, of Alameda County Health’s Housing & Homelessness Services will share insight into the broader housing landscape and the latest developments affecting our region. We’ll then hear directly from leaders at Housing Consortium of the East Bay, Goodness Village, Trinity Center, and CityServe about what they are seeing, where the gaps remain, and how organizations are working together to help people move toward greater stability.
This is a chance to hear from people working on housing from different points along the continuum, ask questions, and better understand what is happening right here in our community.
