GODSLUT - Druglust [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Polish death metal outfit GODSLUT return with another vicious cut from their latest full-length, The Art Of Deconstruction. Following a three-year release hiatus, the band came back with a record that picks up where their debut, Procreation Of God, left off - only to push their sound even further into darker, heavier and more uncompromising territory. Now GODSLUT strike again with Druglust, the next single taken from The Art Of Deconstruction. The track is accompanied by an official music video. The Art Of Deconstruction was released on September 4, 2026 via Selfmadegod Records. Band's leader, Krzysiek Śniadecki comments on Druglust: It's an interesting case, as the theme tells the story of a mental and physical failure of someone struggling with addiction - specifically to hard drugs; you could sorta call it a "health song" :D The lyrics were inspired by the track "Brud" by Popiół to kot, Leny Da Fam, Nobodyinfact - cheers to BDF! Talking about The Art Of Deconstruction Śniadecki stated: Phew, quite a clusterfuck finishing off that piece of so-called satanic music. Satan is cool, but something quite different is going on specifically here. "The Art Of Deconstruction" mirrors the outer world along with its' deviations and geopolitical state, putting it into the contrast to the vulnerable mentality of someone who's currently somewhere between being a stupid teenager and an adult. Feel invited to dig in. GODSLUT has been crafting uncompromising, technical thrash/death metal since 2021. Year later, the band signed a record deal with Selfmadegod Records and, in May 2023, released its debut album, Procreation Of God. The drums on the record were performed by the legendary Paweł “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz (Hate, Decapitated, Antigama, Vltimas, Chivas, and many more). The album delivers technical and relentless death metal with strong thrash metal influences. Recorded in 2022, it was mixed and mastered by Paweł “Janos” Grabowski. GODSLUT has completed several successful tours and appeared at major events including: Mystic Festival 2026, Metal Mine Festival 2024, Rockowisko Zwierzyniec 2024, and the “Chaosu Nastał Czas” tours organized by Knock Out Productions. Along the way, GODSLUT shared the stage with numerous acclaimed acts such as: Behemoth, Mastodon, Decapitated, Saxon, Watain, Hate, Krisiun, Blood Red Throne, Vomitory, Frontside, Hostia, Hamulec, Punched Orange, The Materia, and Redemptor. After three years of studio silence, trio returns with its sophomore album, The Art Of Deconstruction, once again to be released through Selfmadegod Records. Despite its relatively short history, GODSLUT has already established a strong presence within the Polish extreme metal scene, earning recognition through a mature, uncompromising approach to the genre.
