How to Set Up Automatic Payment Reminders in Zoho Invoice (Free)

This walkthrough shows how to set up automatic payment reminders in Zoho Invoice's free plan, so reminders go out on a schedule you choose, before and after the due date. The setup, in 4 steps: 1. An invoice with a real due date: Terms Net 15, not "Due on receipt". 2. Automated reminders: turn on all three, sent to your customer (3 days before, 1 day after, 7 days after the due date). 3. Know the off switches: Stop Reminders on one invoice, Stop All Reminders for a customer, and an Expected Payment Date. 4. Make paying easy: Settings → Online Payments, connect a gateway. Zoho charges no fee for this; your gateway charges its own. Then record cash payments in the app, or the reminders keep going. The free plan's limits: 500 invoices a year, 2 users, Zoho branding on your invoices, and data can be deleted if you don't log in for over 180 days.
