Active Filters

Capacitors make the circuit frequency-dependent; the op-amp adds controllable gain and isolates the filter from its load. Every cutoff uses the same form, fc = 1 / (2πRC), and the passband gain of the non-inverting stage is Av = 1 + RF/RG.
