Becoming Student Doctor Brelynn | Part 1: My 8 Year Nontraditional Journey to Medical School

♡ read me for info ♡ Welcome to Becoming Student Doctor Brelynn, my 8-year journey to medical school docuseries. In Part 1, I'm sharing where it all began: from my years at Spelman College and two master's degrees to working as a medical assistant, taking the MCAT three times, and navigating the highs and lows of pursuing medicine as a nontraditional pre-med. This is the story before the acceptance. ✨ Subscribe to follow the rest of the journey: http://www.youtube.com/c/BeautyandBra... visit my website! - www.brelynnhunt.com https://buymeacoffee.com/brelynnhunt #BrelynnHunt #BecomingDrBrelynn #BeautyandBrains ♡ T I M E S T A M P S ♡ 0:00 - Welcome to my channel! 2:51 - my Spelman academic journey + matriculating into grad school 5:49 - working as a medical assistant, scribe, and surgical tech 6:39 - my second MCAT attempt (doubt, fear, depression) 8:18 - disclaimer: new boundaries with sharing my medical journey moving forward 13:47 - becoming dr brelynn archive video from 2022 19:13 - MCAT score reveal 27:12 - pivoting to another postbacc program 29:27 - interview szn!!! 36:12 - school #2 + interview diaries 48:04 - Miss Maryland (chasing multiple dreams simultaneously) 52:25 - accepting the offer! 57:23 - school #3 coming through at the elventh hour! 58:52 - deciding to attend Meharry (MHS) ♡ V I D E O S M E N T I O N E D ♡ Brelynn's Spelman College Vlogs Playlist -    • Brelynn's Spelman College Vlogs!   My Life After Spelman + My Academic Story -    • My Life After Spelman + My Academic Story ...   Grad School Vlogs - NC State M.
