Seaside Memories, a Hidden Forest Find & a Little Surprise…

Come spend another week with us! 🤍🌊 We started the week with such a lovely day trip to Brighton Beach, and honestly, we ended up staying so much longer than we expected! We spent the whole day by the seaside and didn’t head home until late in the evening. We enjoyed the arcades and little rides with Mason, dipped our feet in the sea, relaxed on the pebbles and just took in those gorgeous seaside views. Sometimes the simplest days really are the best. 🥰 Of course, a trip to the seaside wouldn’t be complete without fish & chips, so we stopped at Harry Ramsden’s for dinner before eventually making our way home. The rest of the week was filled with our usual everyday family life. We had park trips, swimming during the 32°C heat, and one of those days where I had absolutely no energy for a big dinner! 😂 So I kept the BBQ super simple with some pre-marinated chicken thighs and a ready-made salad — quick, easy and exactly what we needed. We also bought Mason a brand-new trampoline, which took Gabs around TWO AND A HALF HOURS to put together! 😂 It was definitely worth it though because everyone ended up getting involved, including the older kids, and we had such a laugh. I already know that trampoline is going to get plenty of use throughout the rest of summer! There’s also a little bit of cooking in this week’s vlog, including me making Polish zapiekanka, a delicious baguette-style pizza, and we finished the week with a peaceful evening stroll. 🌅 And there’s something exciting coming up… we’re off to ITALY! 🇮🇹✈️ It’s only a little 4 night getaway, but I’m so excited to take you along with us.
